I was hired to design and build the bodices for Ithaca College’s Island Fusion Dance Team performance, Revolution. For this 4-part, elemental-based dance, I was asked to create the “water” bodices using organza, chiffon, and pearl beads to achieve a mermaid and aquatic look. I designed 4 versions of the bodice, and built a total of 15 bodices and 1 arm band for the 16-person dance team.
